Sound Designer / Audio Engineer
Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome! (yes, that was in reference to Cabaret) I am a Sound Designer and Audio Engineer at Media Lab, an internal studio at Xbox and Microsoft. I received my BFA in sound design at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) in 2019.
Right after graduating, I started a sound design internship at Turner Studio which turned into three years of working in broadcast sound design for the NBA, TBS, TNT, and Cartoon Network. After the peak of the pandemic I decided I needed to make a change in my career. I have always been passionate about game audio and I was finally ready to make that leap. In 2022 I made the transition to game audio working as a sound designer at Monolith Productions on their upcoming Wonder Woman title and the rest is herstory.
When I'm not in audio mode I enjoy hiking, bouldering, playing piano, frisbee golf, video and board games, watching scary movies, and being a cat mom to Olive and Mocha.
I was involved in both production and post production for this project. It was fun getting to incorporate some spooky sound design for this mix
One of the cool things I get to work on is Xbox's accessibility products. Here is a recent campaign for Xbox's adaptive joystick where I engineered and edited the VO. Once directed to the Xbox website, scroll down to view video.
The Rare team is always a delight to work with. This most recent update included a general mix of dialogue and music with some added SFX.
This game is part of Microsoft's Casual Games. I created original SFX for this game and embellished existing SFX
One of the vendors that we work with at MediaLab is Rare. We will often mix their promos for new features coming to Sea of Thieves. This mix covered dialogue treatment, music, and added graphic SFX.
